  • Spanish version of the book is included.
The main screen has a hexagram grid, a place for the lines to appear as the coins are thrown, and a coin tray. The player clicks on a coin button below a coin tray area. She then enters an inquiry and "throws" the coins six times. The coins and lines appear on each throw. There is optional sound for the coins.

When the player is finished throwing the coins, the secondary hexagram appears along side the primary hexagram. The primary hexagram button then blinks and when the player clicks on it, a box appears with the main reading. The main reading and any line readings appear. When the main reading box is dismissed, the secondary hexagram button blinks and the player clicks on it to get her secondary reading.

The program has a database to store each player's readings in a separate journal. The date and time of the question, the question asked and the resulting reading appear in the journal control box. Individual readings can be deleted from the journal and the journal can be printed.

If the player prefers to physically throw her own coins or sticks, the program is still useful for its journal features. The player can force the results of each throw by pressing the number comprising the roll (6,7,8 or 9). The reading can then be viewed and saved in the journal.

The program uses a random function, however the seed for the random is created from the user information, the question and the time of the rolls all converted to a number using numerology methods.
