Filiments of Light
Quoted from Don Americo Yabar, Peruvian Shaman

"For me, in front of the spirit of nature, there is only one age. That is life. When we start playing with all the cards of the universe, we are going to notice that there are children who are 3,000 years of age, and old men who are still children. We are all connected to other lives through thousands of years of existence in the cosmos. "

"Reality is not only one. There are many realities. The reality that we live, in society, is the reality that has been described to us since we were little babies. But all of a sudden we discover that there are many, many other realities. But, most of all, that there is another reality that is a non-ordinary reality connected to the mystery of existence. For example, the night, what is the night? Simply the void of space? No! Her name is 'Tuta' and she is the mother of all the stars. All the seeds of the cosmos are inside the night. Or the moon. We have been told that the moon is a satellite. Yet, her name is Quilla, and she is the mirror of our mystery. Her feminine energy works with the scents of the night. When are we going to stop seeing the moon as a satellite...and begin again to see it as our grandparent?"

"You know when you have destructive energy. You know when you have constructive energy. You know that the energy of the eyes is aggressive and you know that the energy of the ear is passive. When you look, you project an energy that is either constructive or destructive. When you listen, your energy body opens the feminine energy and becomes receptive. Look how simple it is. We must learn how to be passive and we must learn to use active energy. We must learn to correctly differentiate our destructive and our constructive energy. "

"One form of meditation is listening to the silence. When you listen to the profound silence of the stone or the voice of the tree you are hearing the voice of the spirit. When you finally hear the silence you will find out that your heart is an instrument of music...and the silence of the night of time makes it possible for the spirit to come to you and make this instrument play."

"In any kind of situation, you have the choice of connecting with the energy that flows in the cosmos. You truly can transform that energy into love, and bring that love to all of our body. It's very different than ' personal power'. The important thing is to work with intent and incorporate that cosmic energy transformed in love in order to project that energy to the others. This is the essential principle of the art of magic in the Andes."

"If we accept the description of the filaments, we discover that all of us are simply children. We discover that we are sitting in the lap of a great mother, which is the Pachamama. Let's leave aside for a moment our personal arrogance, the shields and mental structures, and let's feel that we are little children sitting in the lap of the Pachamama. Let's forget our cultural face and let's try to recover, to remember, the first face that we had when we were born. That's our best face. Let's recall the first time and our first face and let's engage with the Pachamama. Let's feel it and Allow that wave of energy to race through your body."

"So, the first thing that you have to do is not 'do' anything. Absolutely nothing. The most interesting thing about our work is that it's about not 'doing' anything. We are 'doing' things all the time. If we don't 'do', then we feel like we are a failure...that we are wasting our time. Sure, we all have things to 'do', but it's time to pay attention and choose our time for not 'doing' anything. Then you can observe. Then you can incorporate. Then you can assimilate. Then the sun will come, or the wind, and then everything will become obvious. That's how we transform energy."
